What people say about us

I was so impressed with Keegan and Wyatt. They adapted their usual programming to fit our needs, and they did it extremely well. Our players - with their wide range of abilities - enjoyed and learned a lot in the week-long camp. These coaches handled a large group of kids, in too small a space, and were still able to keep the kids focused and advancing their skills. I look forward to working with them again in the near future.

Our school was looking to organize an active event for our students in Moose Lake, Manitoba. Fitness Up North delivered a fun two-day basketball program for our grade 5-12 students. They even provided us with customized marketing materials to promote the event beforehand. The students had a great memorable weekend and learned exciting new skills. All together the camp experience with Fitness Up North was wonderful and I would highly recommend their program to other institutions.

This has been the first year that Shamattawa welcomed Keegan to our Basketball Spring Camp. The program was specially organized and facilitated by Keegan. The players had an incredible three days experience, learning new skills and discipline in the sport. Coach Keegan has an engaging personality, and seasoned experience. The players respected the lessons he provided and were eager and willing to engage in various skills and techniques. The players learned to be more competitive on the court and embraced and recognized the importance of playing as a team. At the end of the camp, several students received certificates for skills and techniques that were developed. We are looking forward to having Keegan back in Shamattawa, very soon.

Coach Keegan made sure that the basketball camp was very fast paced. Athletes were divided into groups based on skill level. This gave the optimum level of instruction and competition for each group. Athletes practiced passing, shooting, lay ups, defensive strategies, and were also able to play some scrimmage with their teammates. Coach Keegan gave instruction and feedback to each player, and coached teams on how to work together. Based on how much fun we had, I’d say this event was a real slam dunk!!

Keegan and Jelane from Fitness Up North delivered a fantastic, 3-day camp for our K-12 school during their first visit to Nunavut! The coaches were warm, friendly, and enthusiastic and, importantly, they made students feel welcome and comfortable while trying a sport they did not have much previous exposure to. The coaches started with the basics and increased the challenges while keeping the atmosphere relaxed. It was a very memorable experience for the students and they are still talking about it and asking when the next basketball camp will be!
