Meet our Coaches
Coach Keegan is very passionate and knowledgeable about the game. Being a former Bison athlete and having coached a Junior Basketball team for over eight years makes Coach Keegan a highly experienced instructor. His coaching style is based on building fundamental game skills through fun interactive exercises and coach Keegan loves a little competition.
Coach Jonar has excelled at every level. After winning the Provincial Championship he was recognized as MHSAA Provincial All-Star and was selected to the All-Manitoba team. Playing for the Red River College Rebels he earned an MCAC All-Conference award and won the MCAC Championship. Jonar is a former four-year Bison Athlete and played professionally for the Café France Bakers in the PBA D-League.
Coach Wyatt’s love of basketball is what pushed him into coaching. He has an impressive Basketball resume which includes selected MVP of the MCAC and being a four-year Bison Athlete. After university he earned a spot on the final roster for the Cape Breton Highlanders of the NBL Canada professional basketball league. Coach Wyatt is also a top ranked Fiba 3x3 player where he has toured in North America and Europe.
Coach Jelane has had a passion for basketball since he was first introduced to the game at five years old. Throughout high school he was dedicated to the game and this led to two division championships in Ontario. After high school Jelane played at Ryerson and the University of Winnipeg. His achievements include a Canada West 2nd team AllStar title, and Jelane played FIBA 3x3 at top world level together with fellow camp coach Wyatt.
